Soon Nike will be releasing a new pack of Terminators. The Terminator Low comes white/green/grey colorway with a mixed canvas/leather upper. The upper features different camouflage patterns. The Terminator High comes in a silver/white/green colorway, also playing with subtle camouflage patterns on the leather upper.

Atmos will be releasing the pack on 4th of April.

Bringing back kids memories for many out there, Converse brings back the Jams this season. They come in a low and in a mid version and are just as colorful and crazy as back in the day. Canvas uppers, lots of color, white sole and “Jams By Converse” logo tag on the sole can be found on all sneakers of the pack.

We give you a first look at the Y-3 Spring/Summer 2009 “Beach” Luggage Collection. The line right away attracted some attention, because usually we only see black pieces from Y-3. We like the striped design of the collection and the mix of canvas and leather, making it a nicely balanced casual collection for the warmer days ahead. From backpacks, duffel bags to totes, the line offers a good selection.

UK sportswear label Gola have hooked up with German pixel art collective eBoy on a new footwear collection for the upcoming 2009 spring/summer line. Influenced by building robots, cars, handguns, world’s filled with girls, and 3D cube’s their unique approach is taken from eBoy’s graphic arsenal and smacked on some of Gola’s classic styles. The sneakers combine a mix of leather and canvas into a mens and womens footwear range. Gola by eBoy is scheduled to release in early 2009 throughout Europe and Japan.

Created for the 100th anniversary of the Phyletic Museum founded by Ernst Haeckel, Seidel’s centennial homage repurposed the museum as canvas for his palate of naturalist-sourced eye candy on 2/2/2008 in Jena, Germany.

“San Francisco’s Broadway tunnel is a highly traveled thoroughfare in the heart of the city. Over 20,000 cars, trucks, and motorized vehicles pass through it per day. Its walls are caked with dirt and soot, and lined with patches of paint covered graffiti from days gone by. It set the perfect canvas to create a beautiful work of art showcasing the talents of reverse graffiti artist “Moose”, and the power of Green Worksplant based cleaner.”

Last year Alexandre Orion did some outstading reverse graffiti in São Paulo. This year Moose did a similar work in San Francisco but using a different style with stencils that is also outstanding. Do visit Reverse Graffiti Project . It’s a must see.

Ian Cook creates art by having remote-controlled cars dart back and forth, painting a canvas with their ink-soaked wheels.

“I wanted to be an artist from a young age and decided that to be successful I needed something completely unique,” said Ian. “I’ve always been mad about anything with wheels and I figured that using cars to paint cars would capture peoples’ imaginations, so I experimented at home by driving some remote control models through paint.”

A Vader Project - the vader version statue of liberty. There’s probably no better example of a Star Wars/Los Angeles mashup than the Vader Project art exhibit debuting at Celebration IV.

Some of the most influential underground artists were sent Darth Vader helmets and invited to use them as a canvas however they saw fit. The result is an oddly inspiring gallery that includes self-referential tributes to the trilogy, abstract interpretations, and a number of anti-war statements. By their very nature, all have a sense of humor.

Participating artists include Gary Baseman, Buff Monster, Mister Cartoon, Marc Ecko, Paul Frank, and Shag.

After this weekend, the exhibit will tour around the world, and eventually be put up for auction (details pending).
