The image shows that the Classickicks script logo appears on the inner sole. They will be releasing tomorrow, August 9th, exclusively at Classickicks in New York and will go for 65 USD. As of Monday they will also be taking phone orders, should there still be something left.

Next week the shoes will also be available at Colette, Patta and Essence for all the international customers.

The Vans x Classickicks Mid Skool ‘77 pack has been delayed and will be releasing towards the end of August.

Some guy named Emerson Taymor had himself some 3-D business cards made. It probably isn’t a new idea, but hey, it’s the first I’ve seen it. Regardless, I found them kind of questionable (even ignoring the goofy picture). Don’t get me wrong: I love wearing 3-D glasses as much as the next guy that dropped acid with his bagel this morning, I’m just saying they seem gimmicky. But being the intrepid reporter that I am, I gave Emerson the benefit of the doubt. So I visited his website to find out what kind of act he performs for birthday parties that warrants such an unusual card, and hello placeholder! Wow Emerson, I don’t even know if you can make balloon animals. But you have inspired me. To include a phone number on my business card that I may activate some time in the future.

Ronn Motor Company (RMC), based in Texas, announced today thats is hydrogen-hybrid supercar - the Ronn Scorpion- will make its debut at the SEMA show in Las Vegas in November. RMC is partnering up with Gaffoglio Family Metalcrafters who will be responsible for most of the car’s construction. The vehicle will run on hydrogen with the intent to produce fuel economy ratings that are better than 40-mpg. The car uses hydrogen but it will still use an internal combustion engine and it will still require petrol.

The Scorpion features a Honda-sourced 3.5L V6 engine mated to a six speed manual transmission. Engineers have installed a new fuel delivery system that has special injectors controlling the flow of hydrogen fuel, as well as an onboard system to create fuel. The hydrogen fuel comes from fractured water molecules that are taken from an on-board tank . The advantage of this tank is that the car won’t have to store hydrogen or have to stop at any hydrogen fueling stations. Because the Scorpion burns a combination of petrol and hydrogen, there are no carbon dioxide emmisions and very small amounts of CO2 and Nox.
